My history
"Because of professional obligations, I had to give up horse-riding competition in 1968 and eventually sold my two horses. Shortly after, I bought my first pedigree dog , a gorgeous two-month-old afghan hound puppy. Sheikh's coat was an amazing black with silver streaks. His father was famous Finnish multi-champion Tuohi Tikan Punjab.
A few months later, out of sheer compassion, I bought a gorgeous blond male, Ringo. In spite of its young age (he was only a year and a half), he had been abused by his previous owners. His father was English multi champion Horningsea Solari and his grandfather was English champion Kanabad Suvaraj.
In 1969, even though I didn't know anything about dog shows, I decided to enter Sheikh to the Swiss Championship juged by a famous Sweddish all-round juge, Mrs Ulla Ségerstrôm. Sheikh won his first championship out of 108 competitors!"
SHEIKH and RINGO soon became multi champions accumulating titles in the most prestigious rings all over Europe. They were so famous that 36 years later, some judges still remember them!
They were the first champions on a long list including a gorgeous bitch, URPIE DE PANDJAH, Horningsea Kamoraqui's granddaughter, and all our "babies": ISAÏE, IASLAM, ISMAILIA, which all followed the same path to success.
This list would not be complete without an oustanding bitch, HUILACO'S DOMINIKA. The daughter of famous Huilaco's Antar Rakashi's was the first domino bitch ever imported to Europe.
In 1983, I gave up breeding Afghan hounds because of professional obligations once again and turned to another breed, much easier to groom. I set my mind on Doberman dogs and soon adopted ULRICH DES LANDRYS ( that died of a heart condition at age of a year and a half), then URFEE, and finally VERMEER DES LANDRYS whose international career was spectacular : he became an internation champion, champion in Switzerland, in Spain ... and even came second in the World Championship!

Then I adopted BUSTER SILVER DE FURIOSO, a gorgeous black and silver Miniature Schnauzer, that was described by a juge as "a true king of the ring"!
I then turned to the dogs I'm currently breeding : Scottish Terriers and Xolos. |
